This policy describes the information RoadworksCheck handles, including contact messages, hosting logs, optional location lookup and Microsoft Clarity analytics.
If you email us, we receive the address and message you send so we can reply. We do not publish your message and we do not use it for marketing. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry.
Hosting and logs
The website is hosted on Vercel. Like most websites, the host may record technical request logs such as IP address, browser type, requested URL and time. Those logs are used to run and protect the service, not to build a profile of you.
Location lookup
“Use my current location” asks the browser for your coordinates only after you press the button. The coordinates are used in your browser to find the nearest supported town, then discarded. Precise location is not stored on our servers.
Cookies and storage
Microsoft Clarity may use cookies for analytics. The host may also use strictly necessary cookies to deliver the site. See Cookie settings for the current position.
Analytics
RoadworksCheck uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the website and identify usability problems. Clarity is a third-party service provided by Microsoft.
